This marks the tenth year of producing the Rail Transit Rankings.
This year, we have significantly upgraded the data presentation, highlighting the correlation between "Actual Route Network Maps" and "Mileage," allowing readers to intuitively grasp the network layout characteristics of each city. At the same time, we have retained core data such as ranking changes and added forecasts for lines and mileage opening in 2023.
Building on last year's foundation, this data continues to use the "Metropolitan Area Network" as the statistical standard. (Note: The real-time rankings within the MetroMan App retain the "Single City Network Data" for user convenience.)
