Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Site and its related services.
By accessing or continuing to use the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

1 Acceptance & Updates

1.1 Your use of the Site signifies your acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1.2 We may revise the Terms from time to time. The latest version is always available at /terms and becomes effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2 Scope of Services & License

2.1 The Site provides public-transport information and tools—such as metro lines, stations, and route planning within mainland China—for personal, non-commercial viewing and reference only.
2.2 We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site in accordance with these Terms.
2.3 Except as required by law or expressly authorized by us in writing, you may not copy, reproduce, scrape, sell, lease, or otherwise commercialize any part of the Site or its content.

3 User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct

3.1 While using the Site you agree to comply with all applicable laws and must not:

• Use the Site for any illegal purpose
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to obtain the Site’s source code
• Harvest Site data in bulk via automated means (e.g., bots, crawlers)
• Upload, publish, or distribute unlawful, harmful, infringing, or inappropriate content
• Interfere with or compromise the Site’s normal operation or security

3.2 If you breach the above obligations, we may, without notice, restrict, suspend, or terminate your access and reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.

4 Intellectual Property

4.1 All content on the Site—including, without limitation, text, images, maps, logos, UI design, and software code—is the intellectual property of MetroMan or its licensors.
4.2 You may not remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices, nor create derivative works without prior written permission.
4.3 You may use Site content only as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

5 Subscriptions & Paid Services (Mobile Apps)

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription via the MetroMan iOS or Android app, the relevant App Store rules and our Subscription Terms also apply. Billing, renewal, and cancellation follow the instructions displayed on the subscription page.

6 Third-Party Services

6.1 The Site embeds third-party services such as Amap and Google Maps for maps and analytics. Data processing and liability for those services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
6.2 We make no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or legality of third-party services.

7 Disclaimer

7.1 The Site is provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or non-infringement.
