Starting from 10:00 on December 30, 2025, the Jinan Rail Transit Jiyang Line (Tram) has officially commenced operations. The line stretches 36.1 km from Jinan East Railway Station in the south to Jiyang North Station in the north. While the line features 15 stations in total, 10 stations are opened in this initial phase.

Regarding the fare policy, the Jiyang Line will implement a flat fare of 2 CNY during its initial operation period.

  • Bound for Jinan East Railway Station: 06:00 - 20:50
  • Bound for Jiyang North Station: 06:30 - 21:00

  • Weekday Peak Hours (06:00-09:00, 17:00-19:00): Approximately every 15 minutes.
  • Weekday Off-peak & Weekends: Approximately every 20 minutes.
