Beijing Metro Line 17 adopted a new train schedule starting October 15, 2025, with adjustments to the times of the first and last trains as well as headway during weekday evening peak hours. Currently, the entire line has begun trial runs in "connected mode" (with the middle section currently not carrying passengers), signaling that the countdown to the full operation of Line 17 has officially begun.
Currently, there are four metro lines nationwide operating in segments due to construction progress: Beijing Line 17, Foshan Line 3, Guangzhou Line 12, and Tianjin Line 4.
