Southern Shihu lakeside

Open up the view in the south

Lake views, paths and distant hills offer a slower stop in the south of the city. Pick one waterfront section instead of trying to cover the whole scenic area.

Getting there

From Shihu Moshe, head towards a southern entrance to Shihu. Choose a lakeside section and allow time for the connection back to the station.

MAKE A DAY OF IT

A few stops. A good day out.

Allow 4–6 hours

An exhibition, then a lakeside walk.

Confirm the museum’s opening and programme first, then make the Shihu walk an optional second part.

BEFORE YOU GO

A little planning goes a long way.

Check admission before setting your order

Gardens, museums and events have their own opening, booking and ticket arrangements. Times here are editorial visit estimates, not opening hours or train times; you need not cover every highlight in a day.
